Fluid Dynamics

Fluid dynamics has always been an interest of mine. I've just never found the time to research any of the techniques. Hopefully sometime this summer I will have time...

Anyways, the work by Ron Fedkiw is just amazing. Take a look at his website to see for your self.

SO MUCH to learn, and just not enough hours in the day......

I am going to have to quit my job, let my wife and kids starve, and just do 3D dev all day....wait, I can't work would want their laptop back.. :(

I hear you. So much I want to work on and no time to do it. If only I was rich and could just do graphics without having to worry about studies/work/money.

I always tell myself I'll have time in the summer, but between internships and spending time with my girlfriend/friends/family I'm left with 3 hours a week.

LOL! Wait till you have a wife and kids like me!!

The only way I get to do anything is to have late nights and do a bit of XNA in lunch breaks.

I guess the only chance I have of doing this full time is if I win the Lotto :P

At least with your education you will have a good shot of getting into the industry.

Oh, and it looks like Ron's card can handle 32 bit index buffers lol...

Those are some ridiculous renders. So much of this is so interesting that none of us seem to have time to do more than one or two of them. I guess that's what dev teams are for though eh?

I know. I've been wanting to do something with fluid dynamics for awhile now. It's just not something you can do in a weekend; I wish I could take a course on it and force myself to allocate time for it.
